The City of San Dimas Parks and Recreation just completed the playground renovation at Pioneer Park. The playground was outdated, installed in 1991, and the sand surface was not ADA-compliant. The HRP Program grant and CalRecycle grant helped fund the renovation which includes the installation of new play equipment, the addition of outdoor fitness equipment, and Poured-In-Place recycled rubber play surfacing.
The park improvements will enhance the recreational benefit for all park users, including promoting health and fitness activities, and encouraging residents to a more active lifestyle, as well as providing ADA compliant playground equipment and an accessible surface. Residents of San Dimas are invited to check out the park's many amenities, and especially try the new play and fitness equipment. Enjoy family fun at the improved Pioneer Park!
