The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration has provided a special lapel pin for living U.S. military veterans who served during the Vietnam War period as a lasting memento of the nation's thanks. Living United States veterans who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time during the period of November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, regardless of location are eligible to receive one lapel pin.
San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S. (Helping Establish a Remembrance Of Every Serviceperson) is proud to announce that they will be issuing these pins during their hosting of the Vietnam Wall, "The Wall That Heals." The "Wall" will be located at Lone Hill Middle School, 700 S. Lone Hill Ave, March 22 - 25.
To receive your lapel pin you must provide a DD214 (NO PIN WILL BE AWARDED WITHOUT THIS FORM) and one other form of identification. You can mail this information to San Dimas HEROES/Vietnam Lapel Pin Project at PO Box 4216, San Dimas, CA 91773. You can also provide this information during the four days the wall is in San Dimas by visiting the San Dimas HEROES booth between the hours of 9AM to 5PM.
The HEROES Organization is looking forward to thanking you for your service and welcoming you home.
