We all love spending the long, sunny days of summer outdoors with our furry companions. However, ASPCA experts warn that being overeager in hot weather can spell danger. Even the healthiest animals can suffer from dehydration, heat stroke and sunburn if overexposed to the heat. Heat stroke can be fatal if not treated promptly. Plenty of water, shade, and grooming plus avoiding work in midday keeps everyone, including you, safe in the summer months.
