Finance Division

Barbara Bishop, Finance/IS Manager

The Finance Division consists of the Finance/IS Manager, 2 Senior Accounting Technicians, 2 Accounting Technicians and 2 part time hourly Office Assistants. The Information System Application Analyst works closely with the Finance/IS Manager to manage the City's information systems.

The Finance Division provides a comprehensive financial accounting and reporting system that complies with all applicable laws and regulations and is managed in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The division safeguards all City assets and promotes their efficient use, while adhering to City Council and management policies. The Finance Division performs the following major functions for the City:

Accounts Payable, Receivable & Payroll
Budget Processing
Business Licenses & Film Permits
Financial Accounting, Reporting & Investments
Fixed Asset Management
Information Systems Management
Records Management/Document Imaging
