    Yes, anyone who operates a business or performs a service within the City of San Dimas is required to apply for and retain a business license, unless exempted by the IRS.

    Cable Channel 3 KWST San Dimas is a government/public access channel provided to the City of San Dimas for community use. The City uses this channel to provide City Council broadcasts to subscribers. The City also televises monthly community events, news, and meetings.

    The black container is for common household trash and food waste. The grey container is for recyclable items such as newspaper, cardboard, telephone books, glass, aluminum cans and plastic containers. Do not place aluminum foil, scrap metal, styrofoam, food or yard waste in the gray container. The burgundy container is for green waste such as grass clippings, leaves, brush, and shrubbery prunings. Do not place palm tree parts, palm fronds, dirt, rocks and animal manure in the green waste container.

    The City of San Dimas contracts exclusively with Waste Management, a private contractor, to provide commercial/residential trash collection services. For information regarding specific refuse-related questions or your trash collection fees, please contact Waste Management directly at 800-266-7551. Trash is collected every Tuesday as early as 6 a.m. Trash collection is billed on your monthly water bill.
    To begin or end trash collection services, please contact Golden State Water Company at 800-999-4033 .

    Temporary overnight parking permits can be purchased outside the San Dimas Sheriff station 270 S. Walnut Avenue and in front of in front of the water vending machine at Von's market in the Via Verde Shopping Center 1160 Via Verde. Temporary overnight parking permits can also be purchased online.

    Annual permits cost $40 for the initial application, with renewals at $24 per calendar year. Application fees are non-refundable if a permit is not issued. The cost of a temporary parking permit is $2 per night.

    Campers/motor homes can be parked on city streets for no more than three (3) consecutive days. You will need to purchase a temporary overnight parking permit to park it on city streets.

    Campers must be attached to a legally registered operable vehicle at all times.
