    How do I register for a recreation class or program?

    You may register by mail, on-line, or by coming to the Parks and Recreation Department located in San Dimas City Hall Parks and Recreation Department.

    Does San Dimas have a pool that is open to the general public?

    The City's Swim & Racquet Club has a 25 yard by 25 meter competetion swimming pool and a 52 foot training pool. Swimming lessons, recreation and family swims, water aerobics and an age group swim team are offered during the summer season as well as a year round adult lap swim program.

    Yes. The San Dimas Senior Citizen/Community Center is located at 201 East Bonita Avenue. The San Dimas Senior Citizen/Community Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    San Dimas residents are mailed brochures on a quarterly basis. After the initial mailing, copies are available at the Recreation Desk in San Dimas City Hall. You may also view the entire Frontier on-line. Click "Recreation Guide" below!

    I do not live in San Dimas. Can I still sign up for classes?

    Yes, however, we are not able to process your registration until the first date of registration for non-residents.

    Do I need a reservation to have a birthday party in a local park?

    All City parks are available on a "first come first served" basis. No reservation is necessary. Please note; however, that bouncers and animals are not allowed in City parks.

    Do I need to purchase a membership to participate in programs at the Swim & Racquet Club?

    Although memberships are available to both residents and non-residents, walk-ins are also welcome.

    Softball, baseball, soccer and multi-purpose fields are available for rental for day and evening use. For more specific information about renting sports fields, contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 909.394.6230.

    Registration is required in advance. You may register by mail, in person at the Parks & Recreation Department, or on-line.

    How can I reserve a City facility for a private function?

    The City of San Dimas has several facilities that are available for residents of San Dimas on an occasional basis. These include: the Senior Citizen/Community Center, Ladera Serra Park Building and several conference and meeting rooms.

    In addition, the Stanley Plummer Community Building is available to both residents and non-residents of San Dimas.

    Reservations for all local facilities may be made through the Parks & Recreation Department. For more information call 909.394.6230.

    There are two Los Angeles County parks located in San Dimas, Frank G. Bonelli Park and San Dimas Canyon Park. If you need information regarding reservations for these parks, please contact them directly:

    For our children's programs, the age ranges are firm. Instructors are aware of the developmental needs of children and tailor specific classes to meet these needs.
