The Parks and Recreation
Department is responsible for the management of all City recreation programs,
activities, park facilities and municipal buildings. Specific duties include
the development of leisure activities for all segments of the population spanning
tiny tots to senior citizens, planning special events for community residents,
maintenance and scheduling of municipal facilities for public use, and park
development.

Senior Citizen/Community Center -- The San Dimas Senior Citizen/Community Center is
located at 201 East Bonita Avenue and is home to a variety of programs,
activities, classes and special events designed to meet the needs of the senior
