Commission

The City of San Dimas invites you to become active in your community. Serving on an advisory commission provides an opportunity to assist in the implementation of local policies. Volunteers are appointed by the City Council to serve on each commission. The responsibilities, terms of office, membership size, qualifications, and meeting schedules vary for each commission and are described below.

If you are interested in serving as a member of a City Advisory Commission, please contact the city clerk to complete a Community Services Opportunity Application. Email your Commission Application to cityclerk@ci.san-dimas.ca.us or mail it to City Clerk’s Office, San Dimas City Hall, 245 East Bonita Avenue, San Dimas, CA 91773.

Golf Course Advisory Committee

The Golf Course Advisory Committee’s purpose is to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to the San Dimas Municipal Golf Course. For more information about Committee duties and qualifications, please refer to the Golf Course Committee information.

Meets on the third Tuesday morning of January, April, July, and October at 7:30 am (unless otherwise noted) in the San Dimas Canyon Golf Course Club House at 2100 Terrebonne Avenue, San Dimas.

Parks and Recreation Commission

The Parks and Recreation Commission’s purpose is to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters outlined on the Committee agendas pertaining to the San Dimas Parks and Recreation program. For more information about Commission duties and qualifications, please refer to the Parks and Rec Commission information.

Meets on the third Tuesday evening of every other month at 6 pm (unless otherwise noted) in the Senior Citizen Community Center, 201 E Bonita Ave, San Dimas.

Senior Citizens Commission

The Senior Citizens Commission’s purpose is to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters outlined on the Committee agendas pertaining to the Senior Citizens program. For more information about Commission duties and qualifications, please refer to the Senior Citizen Commission information.

Meets on the first Thursday evening of every other month at 6 pm (unless otherwise noted) in the Senior Citizen Community Center, 201 E Bonita Ave, San Dimas.
